Our history stretches back to 1885. Having started as a horse-drawn carriage manufacturer, Carlsen has grown from a small family business into an internationally recognized company. Today we are one of the largest producers of lightweight isothermal bodies for frozen and fresh food deliveries in Europe. Since 2005, the main activity of the company has been moved to subsidiary Carlsen Baltic in Kaunas, Lithuania, where we have modern facilities in a total surface area of over 8,000 m². Our clients can be sure of the highest quality as our vehicles have been tested by more than 5,000 drivers all over Europe and beyond.

Carlsen Baltic's production standards were always exceptionally high, but in 2012 we have additionally implemented ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management systems to further increase our quality standards. Since 2016 we have been successfully implementing Lean manufacturing principles in everything that we do.
